VALUE SCALPER FOR NT8
Identify When The Market Moves Away From Value
Trading is all about capturing opportunities. To do so, traders need to be aware of where the market is trading relative to value. There are easy ways to see where current value is through the order flow and volume profile.

Markets spend the majority of their time trading around value. Value is not static, it is constantly being readjusted based on traders' perceptions of the market. When a market is efficient, traders' perceptions of value are in line with the true underlying value. Inefficiencies in the market can cause traders to misperceive value, leading to disequilibrium. This disequilibrium causes the market to move. What appears to be "value" at one moment may no longer appear to be so over time. The goal of Value Scalper is to find when a market is moving away from an established value. By identifying these moments, we can take advantage of them and make profits.

Recognizing when value changes are essential for making decisions to buy or sell based on that change in value. A lot of times, what we're looking for is disequilibrium - where one person's perceived value of an asset doesn't match up with another person’s perception of value. This disequilibrium is what creates opportunities. Trading is all about capturing that opportunity by recognizing when it starts
Order flow is a powerful tool that can help traders identify trends based on value. Here's how it works: first, you determine the value of a particular market and time frame. Then, you watch for when the market starts to move away from that value. When this happens, it's often a sign that a trend is beginning.
A market is efficient when traders' perceptions of value are in line with the true underlying value. However, inefficiencies can cause traders to misperceive value, leading to disequilibrium in the markets. What appears to be "value" at one moment may no longer appear to be so over time.  Value Scalper works to find when a market is moving away from an established value. By doing so, Value Scalper can help you trade around value and profit from the resulting disequilibrium.
Let's Take A Look At Some Charts
While Value Scalper was coded to run in conjunction with an order flow footprint chart, you will be happy to learn that Value Scalper will run on a normal candlestick chart so that you can keep your existing candlestick chart that you have grown accustomed to.

When analyzing value and order flow, a trader knows that each market has its own volatility. Some markets move slowly and trend nicely, while others are highly volatile and trade more wildly. While some values may take longer to develop, a value scalper takes this into account.

Since value is not open to subjectivity, there are not many moving parts in the Value Scalper settings. The main setting is the Value Level, which is essentially the size of the value area you will be analyzing. There are three levels for you to choose from. A level of 1 is the smallest value area acceptable. A level of 2 is the median value level. A level of 3 is strictest value area.
Value Scalper Works On Your Normal Candlestick Charts As Well
The Value Level is the most important setting in Value Scalper.
Depending on the market you are trading, you only need to make minor adjustments to the value level.
A lower Value Level will give you more signals.

Ultimately, it is up to you to decide what setting you want to use for the market and chart type you trade. Some traders like to have a lot of trade signals, while others prefer less trades.
Value is at the heart of markets. What a market is "worth" at any given moment is constantly being estimated and re-estimated by traders based on their perception of all available information.

When a market is said to be efficient, it means that traders generally have a good understanding of the true underlying value of the market and their perceptions are aligned with reality. However, inefficiencies can cause traders to misperceive value, leading to disequilibrium in the markets.

These inefficiencies often occur when there is a new development or piece of information that has not been fully factored into the market's assessment of value.

As a result, what appears to be "value" at one moment may no longer appear to be so over time and this results in the market starting to trend up or down - the market is looking for a new value, in other words, the market is looking for balance.

This is where Value Scalper comes in. Value Scalper works to find when a market is moving away from an established value and shows you, the trader, when it is happening so you can take advantage of these opportunities quickly.
